back to school =) / =(

ahh....form 6....not wat i had in mind but well....its not a perfect world.....anyway.... i decided to do it as a backup incase my air asia thingy doesnt work out...yes i am still waiting for a reply.....slow i know. back to my point......form 6 isnt as bad once u get used to the atmosphere la....yeah no doubt u get excited by hoping for some extremly fine chick to show up...lol.... but trust me.....when ur in form 6...ur more worried abt things like...maths....lol...anyway..... the orientiation started at 18th may...but me....i went on 19th..lol...was too lazy to go on 18th....anyway....the orientiation lasted 1 week...and then we were placed into our respective classes.... i applied for a physics class and to my bad luck....got the first class!...yes,...u heard me right,....bad luck.....well the thing is....i never wanted to be in a first class... i find it to competitive and i dun like nerds who dun really know how to have fun while in class...

so i bucked up....and asked my crazy teacher wheter it is possible to go to the second physcis class where i at least have some friends there...lol...to my suprise she reacted in a calm manner and not like how my seniors told me she'd react....and presto!....next day i was in 2nd physics class....enjoyin it now....met some gr8 ppl.....girls and guys alike....their all sporting and we study and have fun too.....and well....i know form 6 isnt easy and if u ask me still....deep down inside i'm literally finding a way out...but oh well...lets just go with the flow shall we??.....haha... well thats all i can say now...will keep u guys updated soon.....

the aircraft that flew ard the world without refuelling

voyager was its name...it was the first plane to fly around the world without refuelling.... the primary engineers of the plane were dick rutan and burt rutan... 2 brothers who own the rutan aircraft factory....anyway...this plane was made mostly frm fiber glass...carbon and kevlar...making it weigh ard 426 kgs when empty...even lighter than a normal family car!!...the aircraft actually started out as a sketch behind a napkin...and 6 years later it broke the record of longest flight ard the world...the plane was piloted by burt rutan and jeana yeager.....the took off at edward's air force base and headed for the equator....they flew at an average altitude of 11000 feet and with an average speed of just 196 km/h....it took them exactly 9 days, 3 minutes and 44 seconds frm taking off to touching down....the plane had super long wings to keep more fuel and it ran on a normal piston engine instead of using a jet engine....the plane had 2 propellers....1 on the front and the other on the rear...both propellers had their own individual engines...the back prop was used all the time and the front was used for additional power during take off or cruising through heavy winds...the plane flew a mind blowing 26 366 miles....and it still had a few gallons of fuel left after touchdown...the pilots took turn looking after the plane and 1 pilot could sleep only after 3 days....the voyager today sits at the national air and space museum in washington dc....truly an engineering marvel....

finally.....the year's ending!!...yay!!!! =D.....i'm gonna miss 2008 though...one havoc year esp in school... 5E rox abit too much..lol....anyway....2009's comin and there a few resolutions in which i HOPE can carry out..lol....

Apple iphone Vs Nokia 5800 expressmusic

as a cellphone fanatic..(lol)...its normal for me to be browsing ard looking for a new cellphone online.... nothing new has really caught my eye for quite a while except the new nokia 5800 expressmusic... for me it can be regarded as perfection.....and i'm bold enough to say that this will have a dramatic impact on iphone sales across the nations...yes dr N.S.R...its just as good as ur iphone :)...its even better in some features...hehehe....for a start...its overall look is better than the iphone...its less wider in size but slightly fatter...by approx. 4mm....it even weighs lighter than the iphone which weighs ard 135g (very..very heavy for a hp).....now while both phones are touchscreen....the iphone takes it by having a larger screen by abt 0.3inches...both phones are equipped with accelerometers ( images rotate with the phone).....and both screens produce ard 16millin colours..(battery hangus in no time)....now while the iphone comes in either 4, 8 or 16 GB shared memory...the 5800 only comes with a 8GB shared memory which can be expandable to 12 gb with the help of a trasnflash (micro SD) card....the one major setback for the apple iphone is that it eats battery....standby time is only ard 200 hours...if the phone is constantly being used...than just give it a maximum of 10 hours...now the nokia 5800 also has about the same usage time as the iphone but the standby time can reach upto 405 hours...which is pretty darn long....both phones have standard features such as bluetooth...WIFI....mms 3G etc etc...but the nokia has a 3.2mp camera with flash whereas the iphone only has a 2mp camera...however the iphone's shots a crystal clear....the one major difference is in terms of software usage.... an iphone uses apple software whereas the nokia uses symbian s60 software...the prices are about the same as well...overall i think that the 5800 is better cause iphone doesnt have a warranty unless purchased in the U.S...sad isnt it...lol...anyway enough abt me writing...go see it for urself :)
